Google Goggles - More than a picture search

Google Goggles is an application that allows you to take pictures using your Android phone and lets you search by taking pictures of store-fronts, books, restaurants, and other items and gives you information by performing a Google search. I will admit this looks kind of cool.

I have used Google Goggles with my Android phone (Droid 2) and it works very well. There are some practical uses for using this application which also include scanning QR codes, Brand/logo research, finding products online such as book titles, and my favorite, scanning business cards! This has been a time saver when it comes to getting contacts into my database. If you haven't tried Google Goggles yet, give it try!
