Local Art Exhibit uses QR Codes to enhance visitors experience

 Art Exhibit uses QR Codes


A local art exhibit featuring the art of Bing Davis which includes art from the Arthur Primas collection is featured at the Dayton Art Institute in Dayton, Ohio.  The exhibit not only features 100 Years of African American Art, but also includes the use of a technology known as Quick Response or QR Codes.

As visitors visit the view the art exhibit, they are able to get their smart phones (iPhone, Android, Windows Phone, Blackberry, etc.) and scan the QR codes that are displayed with the art.  Once they scan the QR code, they can see information about the art, view related art or leave their personal interpretation of the piece they are viewing.
