In my previous post, I provided the first tip for a successful QR Code Marketing Campaign, Consumer Education. In this post I am going to explain another tip for a successful QR Code Marketing Campaign, Incentives.
A savvy marketer knows that in order to get something you have to give something of value in return. This can also be applied to your QR Code Marketing Campaign. Providing an incentive can prove to be very effective when it comes to consumers engaging with your brand via QR Codes. There is a big difference in placing a QR
code on a flyer, poster etc., than placing a QR code on a flyer with an incentive.

Providing consumers an incentive will yield better results and will drive interest in your products or services that you are promoting with your QR Code Marketing Campaign.
Incentives Does Not Have to be Money
Be creative with the incentive that you choose to use to entice consumers into scanning your QR Code. It doesn't have to be money, it could be a special offer, recipe, free download, exclusive mailing list, free appetizer, etc. Think about your audience and what would be appropriate for them, the goals for your campaign, and your budget. Make sure to track your results and make tweaks if necessary.
