Marketing for Restaurants and Bars - Tim Hortons
Tim Horton's in Ohio posted large QR codes on their doors that solicit customer feedback in exchange for a chance to win free coffee for a year. When the QR code is scanned, the user is presented with a survey about the service received at that particular location.
I scanned the QR code and answered the survey. Overall, the layout was perfect for my mobile device and it was simple yet effective. I didn't put myself in for the drawing for free coffee because I don't drink it, however; if the drawing would have been for free donuts ...I would have submitted my information.
Overall, I think this is a great use of QR codes...but of course I have some really cool ideas that would have made this even more effective! Tim Horton's if you are reading this, contact me before your next campaign our team would be very happy to work with your agency.
