Why You Need A Mobile Website, Now!

Why Go Mobile

With so many companies selling smart phones such as the AT&T, Tmobile, Verizon, etc. we have the ability to do a lot more without being tied to our computers. We can now send and receive e-mail, get driving directions, trade stocks, take photos, videos, read the news, watch videos, listen to music...okay, I am sure you get it by now. But my point is that our lives have become easier to manage and we can do more because of the our use of this technology.

With that being said, making your website accessible via Mobile phones is very important so you can reach this new group of Mobile savvy people. These people want to read your blogs, see the latest specials your company or store is offering, or they may want to look at some of your favorite photos or videos while waiting for their wife to finish shopping or during their lunch break. You get the picture.

The Mobile Audience is Growing

How many times have you not been at your computer, hear a web address or something interesting, you grab your Mobile phone to visit the site, or perform a Google search, only to be shown a website that is not optimized for a mobile device? It can be a little frustrating after you have scrolled down the page at least 5-7 times only to see that the page has framed content that your mobile browser doesn't support, videos you are unable to view, or graphics that are so big that you can't see them and so on. There is a growing audience that you are missing out on and going mobile isn't really difficult if you have the right tools. If you use a content management system such as Joomla or a blog such as WordPress, there may be plugins available that you can install to make your website mobile. If you developed the site yourself or you have a developer who designed it for you, do some research on your content management system or blog platform to see what options you have for mobilizing your website. Once you get your site mobilized, make sure you add it to the Mobile Site Link Exchange and I will advertise it for free on my mobile site, http://MobileSiteLinkExchange.com.  The site is a mobile friendly site and we have lots of cool stuff on the site too! Alright, enough about that, just know that I am here for you when you go mobile. I want to be the first one to provide your first link back to your new mobile site. Just make sure you contact me so we can make that happen. ;).

Go Mobile ASAP

So remember, mobilize as soon as possible, there is a large number of people that are searching for your site so make it available for them and their mobile phones. Not to mention, Google automatically indexes your mobile site for you and you get that cute little phone icon next to your web address in the search results letting people know that your site is mobile friendly!
